Never Drink and Drive Campaign through The Safe Communities Coalition

After expenses, proceeds are returned to the community through grants for training, education and outreach to address the consequences associated with drinking and driving.
Funds have been used to launch the “Never Drink and Drive” campaign through The Safe Communities Coalition in southwest North Dakota and conduct server training throughout the state. This program teaches people who serve alcohol how to intervene when someone who has had too much to drink attempts to get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. The Deutscher family car has been converted to a display, and these funds help defray its upkeep and travel-related expenses to schools, businesses, and events across North and South Dakota, Montana and Minnesota. Grants are also made available to support events sponsored by post prom and graduation committees.
